Rally Analysis

Who Wins Short, Medium & Long Points?

CourtsidePlay groups every point into a rally-length bucket based on the shot count detected during that point. Now you can see whether you're a quick-strike player or a grinder.

Rally-length buckets and who won each

Four rally-length buckets

Each point is classified by the number of shots played. The head-to-head result is shown next to each bucket so you can instantly spot which point types you dominate.

4–8

9–15
Medium Rally

Seeing a pattern like "wins every 1–3 shot point but loses most 15+ rallies" is immediately coachable — it tells you exactly where to train.

Heart rate curve alongside swing intensity

Intensity over the match

The heart-rate graph at the top of Match Summary doubles as an intensity timeline. Combined with the per-point shot counter, you can see the exact moment your effort dropped — and whether your heart rate spiked or flatlined right before it.

  • Shots per point are bucketed in real time — no post-match tagging.
  • Points with winner/loser are colour-coded so the chart reads at a glance.
  • Fatigue state (Fresh / Normal / Tired / Exhausted) is computed per point from live heart rate.

Why bucketing matters more than averages

Averages hide information. A player who wins every short rally but loses every long one can have a 50% win rate overall. The bucket view exposes the shape of your game — and where an hour of practice will move the needle the most.
